Digital Scrapbooking Day

For these two layouts I used the same photograph (my favourite), I only had to clip the photograph to the mask. By Paislee Press, Gallery Album 3 templates (see here), so gorgeous.

Minimal, easy and nice. Which one do you like best?

Don't forget to visit here and here for this weekend's Digital Scrapbook Day to grab some freebies, take part in the challenges and have lots of fun!

Silly - Creative Challenge

I submitted a simple digi layout to Scrapartstudio (here) this week, the challenge was "Silly" (here). I've become a fan of Angie Young's designs, love the way the papers blend: patterns, text, lines and butterflies. And this kit is free throughout September!

Little Sister being silly with Big Sister.
Sisterly love.
Silly, sisterly love.
I love you so much that I could eat you all up!

Willow in Autumn

I have a fascination with willow trees. Here, in China, you find them everywhere and it makes me happy to walk under their long branches, softly swishing their leaves in the wind. Autumn is near, and this morning, in the cool  temperature and warm glowing sunlight, the branches were calling my name to look up and feel their vibrant green. In a few weeks the leaves will have gone and only the fragile, thin, bald branches will remain. Embrace the last days of summer.
