Willow in Autumn

I have a fascination with willow trees. Here, in China, you find them everywhere and it makes me happy to walk under their long branches, softly swishing their leaves in the wind. Autumn is near, and this morning, in the cool  temperature and warm glowing sunlight, the branches were calling my name to look up and feel their vibrant green. In a few weeks the leaves will have gone and only the fragile, thin, bald branches will remain. Embrace the last days of summer.
